Elmar Mammadyarov: “Bulgaria, Azerbaijan are strategic partners”

“Bulgarian-Azerbaijan strategic partnership relations are at a high level,” Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov said at the joint press conference following the meeting with Bulgarian counterpart Ekaterina Zakharieva, APA reports.

Azerbaijani FM stated that relations in the field of energy between the two countries are developing: “A billion cubic meters of gas will be delivered to Bulgaria within the Southern Gas Corridor project. We discussed the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project. I spoke about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. I thank Bulgaria for its unambiguous position on this issue. We hold strategic negotiations within the framework of the strategic partnership agreement. The first meeting related to this was held last year.”
