“Reaching a new agreement with Azerbaijan is one of the EU's priorities,” European Commissioner (EU) for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn said reporters, APA reports.
According to him, this agreement will be an indicator of intensified cooperation between the sides.
“Azerbaijan is one of the main partners of the EU. It is important for us to support the efforts of the Azerbaijani economy in the field of diversification. The IT sector in Azerbaijan increased by 9 percent in 2018. We will continue to support this growth. I hope that the new Azerbaijan-EU agreement will be signed soon,” European Commissioner stated.
