March to be held to the peak named after Mubariz Ibrahimov in Turkey

Azerbaijani and Turkish flags will flutter at the peak named symbolically after the National Hero of Azerbaijan Mubariz Ibrahimov in Igdir province of Turkey, Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Kars told APA.

The flags of the two countries with 10 m long and a portrait of Mubariz Ibrahimov (90X70 cm) will be placed on the peak of Tekalti mountain in Tuzluca province.

According to the Consulate General, on September 16, a march will be held to Tekalti mountain. On September 17, a conference on patriotism will be held with the participation of Consul General of Azerbaijan in Kars Nuru Guliyev, prominent Azerbaijani intellectuals and high-ranking military servicemen of Turkey.

Note that the southern peak of the Tekalti mountain was named symbolically after the National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov by the Agridag Mountain Club of Nature and Sports (AKUD) last year.
