MFA: Statement by the Armenian side confirms the absence of a third party in the Karabakh conflict

Leyla Abdullayeva, the head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, commented on the statement of the head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.

According to ONA, the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan in her comment noted that the EU’s position on the Karabakh settlement is clearly outlined in the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, where the right to self-determination is also mentioned among other principles.

“Without going into details of how the issue of the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is reflected in the EU-Armenia agreement, I can only state the following: by this statement, the Armenian side once again confirms the immutability of the truth about the existence of two parties to the conflict: Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the absence of any “third party,” said Leyla Abdullayeva.
