MFA: The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was not a subject of discussion in the negotiations with the EU

Recently, some media outlets referring to negotiations on a new agreement between our country and the EU, spread information that the European Union (EU) does not support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Leyla Abdullayeva told ONA that it does not reflect reality.

"The negotiation process on a new agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union is continuing. I assure you that as in other bilateral and multilateral documents signed between the EU and Azerbaijan, in recent resolutions and statements adopted by the European Union institutions, Azerbaijan's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity has never been and will not be a subject of talks”
