President of Uzbekistan: “Transport links will contribute to the development of relations between Turkic-speaking states”

"We propose to organize a forum of Turkish young businessmen and hold the first meeting of the forum in Uzbekistan next year," President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the 7th Summit of the Turkic Council in Baku, APA reports.

The President of Uzbekistan said that Turkic-speaking countries offered to establish a joint investment fund and stressed the importance of effective use of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.

"Development of transport and logistics links will contribute to the development of relations between the countries, while also bringing Uzbekistan's cities closer to Europe," he said.
