Russian MFA: We recognize Baku as a reliable cooperator, pursuing balanced foreign policy

“Venezuela successfully coordinated activity of the organization and mutual relations of participating countries during its presidency”, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin said in debate discussions of the XVIII Baku Summit of the heads of member states and governments of the Non-Aligned Movement, APA reports.

“We are certain that Azerbaijan will efficiently carry out its chairmanship functions in the Non-Alignment Movement. We recognize Baku as a reliable cooperator, pursuing a balanced foreign policy in accordance with principles of the Non-Alignment Movement”, stressed Russian Deputy FM.

Vershinin said that as noted in the letter of the President Vladimir Putin, positions of Russia and the Non-Alignment Movement coincide.

During his speech Deputy Minister criticized US policy and said that the country deserves to be condemned by the Non-Alignment Movement.
