Vladimir Putin: "I support the Non-Aligned Movement’s activity"

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory letter to the participants of the XVIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement Member States commenced its work in Baku on October 25, APA reports.

The congratulatory letter has been read by the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin in the debate of the XVIII Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement Member States.

In his congratulatory letter, the Russian President said that Moscow supports the Non-Aligned Movement's activity aimed at fair, multipolar world order, international dialogue and cooperation based on recognition of law norms and legal rights of partners recognized by everyone.

Mr Putin emphasized that the summit is held in a difficult international environment, at a time when armed conflicts in many regions of the world have flared up and prevented combat against many problems, including poverty and hunger.

He expressed assurance that the future cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Non-Aligned Movement will contribute to strengthening peace and security at the regional and global levels.
