Azerbaijani president offers condolences to Pakistani counterpart

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain, APA reports.

“I have been deeply saddened by the news of heavy casualties and injuries as a result a powerful explosion in the city of Mastung,” the Azerbaijani president said in his message.

“We are extremely outraged by this ruthless terror attack and consider it important to resolutely and consistently fight against the evil of terrorism in all its manifestations,” President Aliyev noted.

“On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the bereaved families and loved ones of those who died and the whole people of Pakistan, and wish the injured recovery,” the president said.
