Mohammed VI, King of Morocco congratulates Ilham Aliyev on re-election as Azerbaijani president

Mohammed VI, King of Morocco has congratulated Ilham Aliyev over his victory in the April 11 presidential election in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The congratulatory letter says: "It gives me great pleasure to congratulate you most warmly on your re-election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I send you my best wishes for continued success in your high office and in your endeavors to serve the people of our sister nation, Azerbaijan, and lead them towards further progress and prosperity.

By renewing their confidence in you, the people of Azerbaijan have shown how much they appreciate your qualities as a seasoned statesman as well as your untiring efforts to promote comprehensive, sustainable development in your country.

I should like to say how satisfied I am with our fruitful, steadily developing cooperation. I keenly look forward to continuing to work with Your Excellency to strengthen our ties in all sectors, thereby reflecting the brotherly bonds between our peoples and serving their interests".
