OSCE/ODIHR observation mission begins work in Azerbaijan amid upcoming election

The long-term mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) has launched its activities regarding the upcoming presidential election in Azerbaijan.

 

Corien Jonker will head the ODIHR election observation mission, which includes 30 experts, APA reports.

 

The mission will monitor the preparatory process for the elections, the candidates' campaigns, and the activities of the election organizations.

 

Presidential election in Azerbaijan is to be held on April 11, 2018.
