President Ilham Aliyev sends letter to Belarus counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to his Belarus counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.

“I extend my sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Belarus, Independence Day,” President Aliyev said in the letter.

“The friendly Belarus is successfully moving forward along the path of strengthening independence and sovereignty, and improving public administration and the political system. Consistent socio-economic development of the country is a practical confirmation of the purposefulness of the chosen line,” the head of state said. “We are particularly satisfied with the high level of Azerbaijan-Belarus bilateral relations, which reflects the two countries’ efforts to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and deepen the strategic partnership to the benefit of our friendly peoples.”

“Dear Alexander Grigoryevich, I wish you the best of health, happiness and success, and all your fellow countrymen peace and prosperity,” he added.
