African countries support Azerbaijan's territorial integrity: AIR Center

The "Strengthening Africa in the Age of Global Challenges and Promoting Multilateralism: The Role of the Non-Aligned Movement" conference is being held in Baku, jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Center of Analysis of International Relations, dedicated to May 25 - Africa Day, APA reports.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, Chairman of the Board of the Center of Analysis of International Relations Farid Shafiyev, stressed that African countries support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Farid Shafiyev said that during the 30-year occupation of Azerbaijan's territories and also during the Second Karabakh War, African countries supported Azerbaijan's rightful position and its territorial integrity.

African countries are of great importance in the Non-Aligned Movement, and Azerbaijan paid special attention to this point during its chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement," Farid Shafiyev added.
