Ambassador: Azerbaijan is the second largest oil supplier to Czech Republic-PHOTO

A conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was organized by the International Relations Analysis Center and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Chairman of the Board of the International Relations Analysis Center Farid Shafiyev made a speech.

According to him, Azerbaijan has historical, economic, and cultural relations with the Czech Republic.

Then the ambassador of the Czech Republic to Azerbaijan, Milan Sedlaček, made a speech.

According to him, the signing of the document on strategic cooperation between the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan has raised the bilateral relations to a new level: “Currently, both countries are interested in the deepening of the cooperation in the spheres of economy, energy, trade, tourism, culture and education. The energy security in existing crisis period in Europe is in the first place in the agenda of the EU and it should be noted that Azerbaijan is the second largest oil supplier to Czech Republic.”
