Ambassador: Türkiye has become a country to invent its own cannon, tank, and warship

“Nowadays, when Azerbaijan is experiencing a return to the lands liberated from occupation, we are experiencing the joy of celebrating the Victory Day of Türkiye,” Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci said as he addressed the ceremony dedicated to Türkiye's Victory Day, APA reports.

“Türkiye has already become a country to invent its own cannon, tank, and warship. All this is the beginning of the glorious centennial of Türkiye," the ambassador noted.

First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army Colonel-General Karim Valiyev noted that today the relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are at the highest level.

"The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan have an exceptional role in elevating the relations to this level," the Chief of Staff added.

The colonel-general emphasized that the historical, religious and cultural relations between the two countries create new opportunities for the development of cooperation in the military field.
