Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci voted in the second round of the presidential elections to be held in Türkiye, APA reports.

He made a post on his Twitter account in this regard.

"We voted in the second round. I wish it to be good for our country and nation," reads the post.

Turkish citizens in Azerbaijan have started voting for the second round of presidential elections, APA reports.

Voting started at 08:00 in the morning and will end at 22:00. Turkish citizens came to the embassy to make their choice.

According to the information of the embassy, ​​preparations have been completed for the voting rights of citizens living outside Türkiye permanently or temporarily to be able to vote in Azerbaijan.

Note that voting in Azerbaijan for the second round of presidential elections of Türkiye will be held on May 20-22. The voting process will take place in the buildings of the Consulates General in Ganja and Nakhchivan, along with the Turkish Embassy in Baku. For the second round of elections, 4 boxes will be placed in the embassy on May 20, 4 on May 21, and 1 on May 22, when the voting process will begin.

Recall that the voting of Turkish citizens living in Azerbaijan for the first round of presidential and parliamentary elections took place on May 5-7. In the presidential elections, no candidate won the right to be elected because nobody received more than 50% of the votes, and the second round of the presidential elections will be held in Türkiye on May 28.
