The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about the agreements reached between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia and the large-scale military provocations committed by Armenia in recent months at the 39th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM within the framework of the high-level week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, said the Azerbaijani MFA, APA reports.

The minister reported on efforts to eliminate the consequences of the past conflict with Armenia in the post-conflict period. The minister informed the participants about restoration and reconstruction measures in the region, the return of internally displaced persons, some projects for the reintegration of ethnic Armenians living in the region, as well as the danger of mines in the region.

It was emphasized that within the framework of the tripartite declaration and the agreements reached between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, work was being done to open communication and transport lines, as well as a proposal for a peace agreement was put forward by Azerbaijan.

Despite all this, it was reported that Armenia obstructed the process and resorted to delaying tactics, seriously violated its obligations under the Tripartite declarations, and in recent months has caused large-scale military provocations, and there have been losses as a result of the provocations.

It was brought to attention that despite the destructive activities of the Armenian side, our country is determined to advance the peace agenda and continues the negotiations.
