Armenian speaker: Armenia should not participate in negotiations with Azerbaijan regarding Lachin corridor

"Armenia should not participate in negotiations with Azerbaijan regarding the Lachin corridor," the speaker of Armenia's National Assembly, Alen Simonyan said, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

He noted that Armenia is not a party in the part of the trilateral statement dated November 9, 2020, regarding the Lachin Corridor.

Simonyan noted that Armenians in Karabakh have the opportunity to hold direct discussions with Azerbaijan, to speak directly, and they deal with it themselves.

"Armenia will support any of their decisions," said the Armenian speaker.

According to Simonyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia did not participate in the trilateral meeting with the foreign ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan scheduled to be held in Moscow in December due to the situation regarding the Lachin Corridor.
