Assistant to Azerbaijani President: "Are the US and France unable to digest territorial integrity of Azerbaijan or reconstruction works in Shusha?"

"Our diplomat friends and partners can not hide their surprises regarding reconstruction projects, implemented by Azerbaijan within a short period of time," said Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev at the international conference in Shusha, APA reports.

Hikmet Hajiyev has noted that representatives from all points of the world are participating in Shusha now: "As you see, representatives of numerous states take part here. Representatives from states from almost all continents of the world are in Shusha now. For example, European, Asian, Latin American countries - Guatemala, Panama, Argentina, as well as African countries, Uganda, Chad, and other states, at the same time representatives of Australia and Oceania region countries are here today. And this participation is interesting enough for them too. Really, our diplomat friends and partners can not hide their surprises regarding reconstruction projects, implemented by Azerbaijan within a short period of time. Realization of all of these within a short period has caused great interest.

Presidential Aide has attracted attention to the non-participation of the US and France in the mentioned conference: "But there are two states which do not attend the event, I would like especially note them: the US and France. We can not understand the reason for their non-participation here. Truly, the city of Shusha does not need participation of namely these countries. They may come or may not. It means we will not invite them from now on. But their no-participation, release of some states within the framework of the Minsk Group, and about restoration and resuscitation of the Minsk Group once more show which mission was implemented by them within the framework of the 30-year negotiation process. It is not clear whether they cannot digest the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan or the reconstruction and restoration works in the city of Shusha."
