Azerbaijan calls on Tajikistan to benefit from opening of Zangazur corridor

A round table has been held by the organization of the Center for International Relations Analysis and the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The Chairman of the Board of the AIR Center delivering a speech at the opening said that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, but these relations have historical roots.

He noted that there are rich opportunities for the development of relations in the different areas between two countries.

Sector Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Bunyad Huseynov has noted while delivering a speech tht relations between the two countries cover the different areas. There is successful cooperation both mutually and in international organizations.

MFA official said that relations between the two countries are developing in the fields of education, culture, and economy. Bunyad Huseynov added that the 5th meeting of the intergovernmental commission was held.

He noted that new realities emerged with the liberation of lands. Bunyad Husyenov noted that the opening of the Zangazur corridor opens beneficial opportunities for the countries and Tajikistan may use this.
