Heydar Aliyev succeeded in creating a strong state of Azerbaijan, said Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Vladimir Orlic at special meeting of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament) dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Great Leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, APA reports.
Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia stressed that Azerbaijan and Serbia have same position regarding the protection of territorial integrity.
Vladimir Orlic added that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is a great friend of the Serbian people: "We came from Serbia to commemorate the memory of Heydar Aliyev together. Azerbaijan can always be sure of Serbia's support. I wish the future of Azerbaijan to be bright."
