Azerbaijan does not call Kaliningrad "Königsberg" and expects the same from the Russian side - Farid Shafiyev

"Azerbaijan does not call Russia's Kaliningrad region "Königsberg" and for this reason, expects Russia to use Azerbaijani toponyms," Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations Farid Shafiyev wrote on Twitter, APA reports.

He has noted that the main point here is the necessity of noting residential settlements in Karabakh in accordance with the official toponyms of Azerbaijan by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Farid Shafiyev has stressed that the Declaration on “Allied Interaction between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation” signed on February 22, 2022, should especially be taken into account.
