Azerbaijan has been a reliable partner of a number of European countries for many years in terms of oil and gas supplies, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said at the joint press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó in Budapest, APA reports.
The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan mentioned that according to the first agreement, 10 billion cubic meters of gas was delivered to 3 European countries - Italy, Greece and Bulgaria.
"A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Azerbaijan and the European Commission in 2022 to enhance cooperation in the field of energy, . One of the key points of this Memorandum is related to increasing the capacity of Azerbaijani gas to be exported to the European market," Azerbaijani FM added.
