Azerbaijan initiated arbitration proceedings against Armenia based on the Berne Convention, FM says

"Natural resources are a big topic in itself. Some "defenders" of the Armenian side are expressing completely groundless opinions," said Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.

"For the first time in history, the Azerbaijani state has initiated arbitration proceedings against Armenia based on the Berne Convention. Over almost a year, negotiations were underway with Armenia to resolve the crimes committed by them before the arbitration process under the Berne Convention. These issues did not appear on December 12, but 12 weeks before December 1. Serious work has been underway in this direction over the past two years. We have thousands of page files. Of course, it is unacceptable to repeat this ecological catastrophe before our eyes even today," the minister said.
