"The Working Group on the establishment of communication links between the East Zangazur economic region of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through the territory of Iran will hold a meeting soon," said Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran Ali Alizadeh, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
He said a memorandum of understanding in this regard was signed in Baku during a meeting of the Iran-Azerbaijan Joint Economic Commission. "Currently, we are working on the implementation of this memorandum. The working groups on drafting bridges to be built on both sides-on the Nakhchivan side and on the Zangazur side- will hold meetings soon."
