"Armenia does not want peace. It lives again with revanchist ideas and uses the practice of negotiating imitation, " said Polad Bulbuloglu, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

The ambassador noted that despite the serious consequences of the occupation, Azerbaijan initiated the process of normalizing interstate relations with Armenia on the basis of mutual recognition and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the inviolability of internationally recognized borders, and has repeatedly stated that it is ready to begin negotiations on a peace treaty between our countries.

At the same time, efforts have been made to begin the process of delimitation and demarcation of state borders between the two countries, and to open transport and communication links in the region:

"Two years after the war's end, Azerbaijan has once again become convinced that Armenia does not want peace; it lives again with revanchist ideas, utilizes the practice of imitating negotiations, and instead of honestly fulfilling its obligations, it refuses them, engages in provocations, does not withdraw its armed forces from the sovereign territory of Azerbaijan, landing mines the territories again, and thus creates new threats to stability and security in the region." said the head of the diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation.
