Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the necessity of parallel use of Aghdam-Khankandi and Lachin-Khankandi roads to meet the needs of Armenian residents through the ICRC by following the legislation of Azerbaijan and relevant procedures during the meeting with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mirjana Spoljaric Egger in Switzerland, APA reports.
Azerbaijani Minister reminded that despite the agreements reached, it was noted that Armenia and the puppet regime created by it grossly violated these agreements.
The Minister brought to attention that Armenia's "blockade" claims are groundless while the passage of Armenian residents is ensured on Lachin road in both directions on a daily basis.
In general, it was noted that the obstruction to the transportation of goods to the territory through Azerbaijan is a political manipulation and a part of Armenia's attempts to stir up separatism.
Also, Armenia's transport of mines and weapons through Lachin road after the 44-day Patriotic War, and illegal activities such as rotation of military personnel were mentioned during the meeting
