"The situation in the South Caucasus region was also discussed today and the importance of trilateral agreements was noted," said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Baku today, APA reports.
"Issues related to the post-conflict period were discussed and we exchanged views on the work done to sign a peace agreement with Armenia. The active phase for signing this agreement is over. Currently, the Armenian side is preventing the signing of the peace agreement, and we saw that they refused to participate in the 3rd round of negotiations," noted the Minister.
“We discussed the situation in the South Caucasus, as well as the implementation of the trilateral statements with my Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Baku, APA reports.
According to him, they also discussed with the Russian FM the normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations.
