On May 15, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov made a phone call to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, APA reports.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated his Turkish counterpart Çavuşoğlu on the fact that President Erdoğan and the ruling party won the majority of votes in the presidential and parliamentary elections held in Türkiye. As a result of these elections, confidence was expressed that brotherly Türkiye will become even stronger.
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu expressed his gratitude for the attention and congratulations.
During the phone conversation, the current situation in the region and the latest updates on the peace negotiations were also discussed.
