Azerbaijani FM discussed with Deputy Assistant Secretary General of NATO the current situation of negotiations with Armenia

On May 26, 2023, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Deputy Assistant Secretary General of NATO for Political Affairs and Security Policy, special representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina, Foreign Ministry told APA.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between NATO and Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process and the current state of negotiations were discussed.

At the meeting, the importance of conducting regular political dialogue and developing practical cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO as a partner country and contributor to peace and security in the region and beyond its borders was noted.
