On February 24, 2023, a phone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, APA reports citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the phone conversation, steps to eliminate the effects of the devastating earthquake that caused great loss of life in Türkiye, as well as preparation issues related to the upcoming Organization of Turkic States Summit were discussed.
The ministers also exchanged views on the current situation in the region, including other issues of mutual interest.
