“Events in the region and the world increased the importance of cooperation in the field of transport and communications,” said Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of the Turkic States which held in Ankara, Türkiye’s capital city, APA reports.
Noting that the events taking place in the region and in the world increase the importance of cooperation in the field of transport and communications, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed in detail about the work carried out in this direction to create a new transport infrastructure in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, including the start of the work of the Zangazur corridor. In this regard, confidence was expressed that these efforts by Azerbaijan would create conditions for using the transit potential of the Middle Corridor and make an important contribution to strengthening regional peace and security.
