Azerbaijani FM meets with Executive director of CICA

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Executive Director of Conference on Interaction and Confidence-building (CICA) Measures Kairat Sarybay, Azerbaijani MFA told APA.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov greeted the Executive director and noted that Azerbaijan attaches importance to cooperation within the framework of CICA. The minister noted that the importance of regional cooperation formats comes to the fore in the current period. In this regard, trilateral cooperation formats, carried out also by Azerbaijan’s participation, as well as the conference of Azerbaijan- Kazakhstan- Turkiye foreign ministers and transport ministers held in Baku were mentioned. It was stressed that the issue of the transport connection, as well as the importance of the East-West Middle corridor, is of importance.
