Azerbaijani FM meets with US Assistant Secretary of State

On March 6, 2023, within the framework of the visit to the State of Qatar, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Michele Sison, Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current situation in the region, bilateral relations between two countries, as well as issues of cooperation in multilateral platforms.

During the meeting, the minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan plays an active role in several international platforms, and currently implements chairmanship to Non-Alligned movement, and Organization of Economic Cooperation, and attends large-scale initiatives. The opposing side was informed about the Summit of NAM and its results held in Baku on March 2.
