Azerbaijani Foreign Minister held a phone conversation with his French counterpart

On September 13, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a phone conversation with the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France, Catherine Colonna, Azerbaijani MFA told APA.

Jeyhun Bayramov brought to his counterpart's attention that Armenia did not fulfill its obligations accepted in the post-conflict period, resorted to military and political provocations contrary to the tripartite statements and agreements reached between the leaders, and a large number of our military personnel were killed as a result of large-scale military aggression on September 12-13. At the same time, Jeyhun Bayramov drew attention to the fact that the Armenian military units have not been completely withdrawn from the territories of Azerbaijan and said that it is important for Armenia to abandon its policy of aggression.

Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna noted that they are deeply concerned about the tension in the region and that it is important to continue the process of normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia and solve the problems at the political-diplomatic level.

During the phone conversation, other topics of mutual interest were exchanged.
