Azerbaijani Foreign Minister held a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov on September 13, 2022, APA reports, Azerbaijani MFA told APA.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov reported on the recent situation in the region as a result of large-scale provocations by the Armenian armed forces, as well as the steps that were taken by Azerbaijan to prevent aggression. It was emphasized that during the last month, Armenia regularly fired at our positions, continued the mining of our territories, and did not completely remove the Armenian armed forces from our territories, contrary to the tripartite declarations.

Sergey Lavrov pointed out that it is necessary to avoid conflict in the region, as well as the importance of the full implementation of the tripartite declarations signed between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the Russian Federation.
