Azerbaijani, Geogiran MFAs hold consultations on consular issues-UPDATED

On November 25, consultations on consular issues were held between the Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Georgia, the Azerbaijani embassy in Georgia told APA.

The consultations were attended by the Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emil Safarov and Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Tabatadze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan Zurab Patarad, as well as responsible employees of the foreign policy institutions of both countries, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the State Migration Service and the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.

Baku is hosting the next round of consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Georgia on consular issues, APA's Georgian bureau reports.

The Georgian delegation is headed by Gregory Tabatadze, director of the consular department of the Georgian MFA. The meetings are also attended by Faig Guliyev, the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia, and Zurab Pataradze, the ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan.
