Azerbaijani MFA: Azerbaijan-Armenia relations should be based on principles of territorial integrity and sovereignty

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković as a part of his official visit to Croatia, the Azerbaijani Ministry told APA.

At the meeting, the other side was also informed about the post-conflict realities in the region and the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process. In this regard, despite the peace agenda put forward by the Azerbaijani side and the relevant constructive proposals, the contradictory and provocative positions and activities demonstrated by Armenia were discussed.

It was pointed out that the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations categorically should be based on fundamental principles of international law such as territorial integrity and sovereignty.
