Azerbaijani MFA: Illegal activities in areas compactly inhabited by Armenian residents are threat against Azerbaijan’s national security

“Illegal activities in areas compactly inhabited by Armenian residents are a threat against Azerbaijan’s national security and ending such illegal activities is necessary,” reads the commentary of Azerbaijan’s MFA regarding the statement of the UN Population Fund on the situation occurred around Lachin road, APA reports.

“In this regard, in accordance with a trilateral statement dated November 10, 2020, the Republic of Azerbaijan guarantees the safety of the movement of citizens, vehicles, and cargo in both directions along the Lachin Corridor. The security guarantee also includes the prevention of misuse of the Lachin road,” emphasizes the commentary.
