Azerbaijani MP: Macron trying to show “political buffoonery” through Hidalgo

France regards Armenia as a means to ensure its interests in the Caucasus, Mushfig Jafarov, Deputy of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) told APA.

Azerbaijani MP said that France worries not for Armenians but for its interests. The Armenian lobby in France is known for its activity. These two factors should be considered in France-Armenia relations as well: “French President Emmanuel Macron, who cannot achieve anything, is trying to show a “political buffoonery” through Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris. Anne Hidalgo sending humanitarian cargo to Garabagh, even stating that she will lead this caravan herself is nothing but clownery. Azerbaijan will resolutely prevent the provocations of likes of these.”

Mushfig Jafarov noted that Anne Hidalgo herself is known for her strong pro-Armenianism like Macron, it is even known to everyone that she is under the full control of the Armenian lobby.
