Azerbaijani-Turkish cooperation to be strengthened further

On December 29, 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has received Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.

The sides have conducted an exchange of views on mutual cooperation, developing between two countries at the highest level and agenda of alliance.

It has been noted that 2021 has been a rich and mainly diplomatic year for both states in terms of both development of bilateral relations and in regional and global platforms, efforts have been stressed to be mobilized for improvement of these relations further in the coming year.

Ambassador Jahid Bagci has presented an invitation letter of Antalya Diplomatic Forum scheduled for March of the next year, to minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Expressing gratitude for the invitation, the Minister noted that the first Forum is a very successful platform and said he will attend the event with pleasure.

The sides discussed cooperation issues of Azerbaijan and Turkey within the framework of international organizations, as well as projects held with initiative and joint participation of both states, the regional consultation mechanism, which recently held its first meeting in the 3 + 3 format, prospects of trilateral and quadrilateral cooperation platforms.

The sides shared their nice wishes on the upcoming 2022.
