Berlin hosted event on "Energy security of Azerbaijan and Europe"

An event on Azerbaijan's role in ensuring the energy security of Europe and Germany was held at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany together with the "Liberaler Mittelstand" organization, which includes about 1,500 German companies, the embassy told APA.

At the beginning of the event, Christian Grosse, Chairman Open International Dialogue and Liberaler Mittelstand Berlin, spoke about Azerbaijan's contributions to ensuring global, including European energy security, and said that Azerbaijan is one of the main and reliable suppliers in a time of energy crisis.

Nasimi Agayev, Azerbaijani ambassador to Germany informed the participants of the event about Azerbaijan's energy policy.

Later, Nasimi Agayev touched upon the steps taken by Azerbaijan regarding the development of renewable energy sources. He informed participants about the green hydrogen and clean energy projects.

Ambassador also provided information about the massive destruction caused in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and the currently ongoing restoration and construction works and answered the questions of the participants.
