British House of Commons touches upon Azerbaijani-Armenian relations

Azerbaijani-Armenian relations were touched upon at the British House of Commons, APA’s Britain bureau reports.

Discussions were held around the current issues on the international agenda at the British House of Commons. Along with several international issues, Azerbaijani-Armenian relations around the questions addressed by the members of the House about Azerbaijani-Armenian relations were also discussed at the discussions held with the participation of Foreign Minister James Cleverley and Minister of State for the European Region Leo Dockerty.

Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijani Group, David Duguid, who was on a visit to Azerbaijan on April 5-8 of this year, was interested in which steps had been taken by the British government in the direction of supporting territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan within internationally recognized borders.

Leo Docherty, Minister of State for the European Region noted that Azerbaijan is an important ally for his country in geopolitical terms.

David Duguid also provided information on his social media about his visit to our country, got acquainted with the scale of destructions in Aghdam and demining process of the areas, as well as the meetings held.
