"Our ties of brotherhood with Azerbaijan play an exceptional role. A century ago, our Azerbaijani brothers sent everything they had to their Turkish brothers in the War of Liberation," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlud Çavuşoğlu said during his speech at the 13th Ambassadors' Conference in Ankara, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
He noted that in 2020, the Turkish people supported Azerbaijan: "With the Shusha declaration, we raised our relations to the level of the alliance. During the 30-year independence of the Turkish states, the most important event is the liberation of Azerbaijan's lands from occupation, the victory of Karabakh. After this victory, the self-confidence of the Turkic world increased even more.
He added that the normalization process with Armenia continues in full coordination with Azerbaijan. According to the Minister, the process of normalization should develop not only in words, but also in deeds.
