The country that destroyed and insulted our mosques, religious and historical monuments should absolutely apologize to Azerbaijan, Habib Mikayilli, the sector head of the foreign policy affairs department of the Presidential Administration, said this at a briefing dedicated to the problem of missing persons in Azerbaijan, , APA reports.

"However, today we see that Armenia, on the contrary, is waging an information war with us," he added.

Habib Mikayilli also noted that the fate of missing persons is not a political, but a humanitarian problem.

"In this sense, it is not necessary to wait for the end of the conflict to determine the fate of those people. We have always said this, and we say it again," he added.
