Croatian former president: "Azerbaijan's importance in global arena will increase year-to-year"

"The platform and the forum are very essential. As you know, high-level officials from different countries and nations attend the forum, and conduct an exchange of views. The forum is also a good example of a multilateral approach," Croatian former President Ivo Josipović attending the IX Global Baku Forum told journalists, APA reports.

Former President has called Azerbaijan, which hosts the Forum, a stable and developing important country.

"The country is important for not only its gas and oil resources or geopolitical position, but also for its policy. And I think Azerbaijan's importance in the global arena will increase year-to-year."
