CSTO: We hope that peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be signed soon

“We hope that peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be signed soon,” Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Imangaly Tasmagambetov told journalists within the framework of his visit to Minsk, Belarus to attend the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council meeting, APA reports.

According to him, regular negotiations regarding the situation in the South Caucasus region are conducted and another meeting took place in Europe recently.
CSTO head stressed that the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides practically recognize the borders between the two countries according to the “Almaty statement” dated 1991.
