"Negotiations on a bilateral agreement between the European Union and Azerbaijan are underway. I hope that this agreement will be signed soon," said Head of EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko, APA reports.
He stressed that the signing of the agreement would create a legal basis for cooperation and partnership: "This is very important. Establishing a legal basis brings cooperation and partnership to a higher level.
Peter Michalko said that the EU is the main market for many products exported from Azerbaijan.
