“Friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye have always been at a high level, two countries have come a long way together in the last 30 years,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in his interview with Turkish media in Ankara, APA reports.
The minister stressed that during the Second Karabakh war, Turkish officials, especially Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, political parties, and the entire Turkish people had supported Azerbaijan: “It once again proves that relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye have risen to an unparalleled level in the world. There are many neighboring countries in the world that are ethnically, religiously, and culturally close to each other. However, none of them are as close to each other as Azerbaijan and Turkiye. We can not see its second example in the world,” the minister stated.
According to FM, mutual projects of Azerbaijan and Turkiye ensure peace and stability in the region.
