Cooperation in the energy field is the main pillar of relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said at the joint press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó in Budapest on September 4, APA reports.
"We continue to develop our strategic partnership through the Southern Gas Corridor — the largest energy infrastructure project in Europe. Hungary is a participant of the new initiative, the Ring of Solidarity, which aims to deliver Caspian gas to Europe through the Southern Gas Corridor and contribute to Europe's energy security," said the minister.
